About Me I am a PhD student at School of Information Technologies of the University of Sydney, working in the field of Computational Linguistics. My supervisor is James Curran. My undergraduate degree was a Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons), also at Sydney, completed in November 2004. In June 2008 I submitted my PhD thesis, it is currently under review.
Research My research is in the area of parsing, specifically looking at the structure of noun phrases (NPs). I have annotated NP structure in the Penn Treebank, and recently converted this data to Combinatory Categorial Grammar (CCG). See my publications page for more information on my work, or the noun phrases page to get the data.
