The Multimedia Computing Research Laboratory is an interdepartmental and interdisciplinary group of excellence. It has a strong research focus in the application of computer science and information technology in biomedicine, multimedia, and information visualisation. Our mission is to be the leading research group, conducting world class research, providing first class undergraduate and postgraduate education, taking intellectual leadership and providing high-level professional consultancy in the selected areas of Biomedical and Multimedia Information Technology, Information Visualisation and Visualisation and High-Performance Computing.
