Why a combined degree?

• Is it because a combined degree allows me to study IT together with subjects from another area?
  Yes! Combined degrees offer students opportunities to add other areas of study to the technology-based IT degrees. Studies for both degrees are fully integrated. In each year you will study IT as well as subjects from commerce, arts, medical science or science. There are many combinations available within these areas.
• Is it because it will enhance my career options?
  Yes! Combined degrees give students a second qualification, which will give graduates an advantage in a competitive workplace. Graduates from a combined degree program generally have a greatly expanded range of career options both in Australia and overseas.
• Is it because it reduces the time spent studying for two degrees?
  Yes! Studying two degrees would normally take seven years. By combining the degrees students will be able to complete the requirements for both in five years.
