Interlibrary loans and document delivery

If you require access to material that the library does not hold – the library can acquire the material for you via the interlibrary loan/document delivery service. There is no charge to staff or eligible students for this service. Check the Library catalogue before making a request.

Orientation Sessions on Library Services

Caroline Regan is a Faculty Library Liaison for Engineering and IT, covering the School of IT, and she can arrange orientation sessions (for small groups) to Library services such as document delivery; databases such as IEEE Xplore, ACM Digital Library and some others not so well known and details on using Endnote 7.

Endnote 7 is reference management software which allows you to download citations from the various databases into Endnote and then create a bibliography usually in the format required by a particular journal editorial board or by an assessment body. You may also store images and URLs in the Endnote citation.

Download Endnote software. You may be asked to enter your Unikey and password before downloading.
