Am I a member?

The degree structure at the University of Sydney allows students to study IT across many degreees. Whilst this is wonderful it makes alumni membership confusing. We have tried to carefully set our criteria that we hope includes everyone.

Members of the University of Sydney IT Alumni Association will include alumni satisfying one of the following criteria:

• Alumni who satisfactorily completed a postgraduate degree or diploma with the Basser Department of Computer Science or the School of Information Technologies;
• Alumni who satisfactorily completed Honours with the Basser Department of Computer Science or the School of Information Technologies;
• Alumni who satisfactorily completed a senior course, a 300 level unit of study or a 3000 level unit of study with by the Basser Department of Computer Science;
• Alumni who satisfactorily completed a 3000 or higher level unit of study with the School of Information Technologies;
• Alumnni who graduated from the following degrees: Bachelor of Computer Science and Technology, Bachelor of Computer Science and Technology (Advanced) and the Bachelor of Information Technology;
• Former and current staff of the Basser Department of Computer Science or the School of Information Technologies.
